Sensei Dinei Daneris
3rd dan

A transplant from IKO South America, Sensei Dinei brings Brazilian flare and stamina to his training and teaching. He took his first step on the budo path under Sensei Oscar Massitta, and has been training for 23+ years, having run his own dojo in Brazil for 8 years in Caxias do Sul.

Dinei graded to his shodan under Shihan Seiji Isobe and Shihan Francisco Filho and competed in over 35 Brazilian National and International tournaments; winning many titles.

Since Dinei moved to Australia he has been training under Shihan Trevor Tockar. During this time he has represented North Bondi dojo in Australia Nationals 2016; winning his division. He also placed 2nd in the 2016 NZ National Tournament.

Dinei placed 2nd in the heavy weight division of the 2017 International Friendship Tournament in Tokyo, Japan; once again representing Australia and making North Bondi dojo proud.

He graded to his nidan under Shihan Tockar in December 2016 and has brought great energy and spirit to the team at North Bondi. In March 2024, he achieved his 3rd dan in Sydney, with the grading panel consisting of Kancho Matsui, Shihan Kenny, Shihan Gorai and Shihan Corrigal.
