Sensei Melinda Baksi

Sensei Melinda began her Kyokushin journey in 1987 in Hungary with Shihan Josef Borza. She joined the Hungarian Army in 1997 where she demonstrated Kyokushin fighting with military self defence & weapons with Major General (shihan) Furko.
She was a member of the Hungarian National Championship team from 2003 winning several tournaments, and began teaching in 1998 under Shihan Furko and later Shihan Horvath.
Melinda started training with Shihan Tockar at North Bondi Dojo in 2012. When she moved to northern NSW in 2017, she was granted the opportunity to open up our branch in Port Macquarie.
Sensei Melinda enjoys all aspects of Kyokushin; she has particular interest in self defence with weapons and the richness and discipline of the Japanese culture.
