International Online Kata Championships 2022
Congratulations to our North Bondi Students who successfully participated in the 2022 International Online Kata Championships.
They were approx. 350 competitors from around the world, divided into 14 separate categories. Generally, only the best of the best took part in the event, with the top Japanese practitioners leading the way. Our team acquitted themselves incredibly well achieving really good scores. We would like to particularly congratulate Sensei John Barker who competed in the men’s 35 – 49 years category, achieving a score of 21.5 (which means that the average score of the referees for his performance was an impressive 7.2!)
